In-Home Assistance Training in Charlotte, North Carolina

CNA-1 Training is a 115-hour-long program offered throughout the year. Our 4-weeks and 3-days program is cost-effective and will prepare students for an entry-level position in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. We also provide in-home assistance training in Charlotte, North Carolina for those seeking to expand their caregiving skills in home-based care settings.

SERENITY NURSE AIDE ACADEMY REQUIREMENTS AND COSTS (effective January 1, 2026.)

Before they can proceed to our CNA training in Charlotte, North Carolina, prospective students must be 17 years old or older and provide the following:

• Completed Application Form Along with an Application Fee of $50.00
• High School Transcript (WITH ACTUAL GRADUATION DATE PRINTED)
• High School Equivalency (GED)
• Valid Driver’s License and signed Social Security card
• Criminal Background Check (We will conduct one for you)
• Proof of a negative Tuberculosis test performed within the last year ($35.00 if performed by Serenity staff)
• Physical evaluation (cannot be over a year old by the time you start class)
• Updated Hepatitis B vaccine (Must have been administered within the last 10 years)

Optional purchases:

• All white women’s shoes $15.00
• All black men’s shoes $15.00
• BP set $40.00

Classes are provided Monday – Friday only, for a duration of 4 weeks with two available session times to choose from.

Class session times:

• Morning – from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Evening – from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm
